Notice
that there was no Benedict X. His number was skipped by
the Papal officials when they assigned numbers
to the Benedict after Benedict IX. But,
notice the count number does not skip for it
is a count of the individuals present. The number assigned
to the pope by the papacy is only a clue to how
this is done - their Roman numerals are not actually
used in the counting system. Instead, you
simply count the popes in each papal name line
and add. That's it. This is
nearly identical to the way the Babylonians
did it to calculate 666 for their gods.
Note that Benedict IX was pope 3 different times, but he
is counted as one pope.

Notice
there was no John XVI or John XX. Like
all other pope names, simply count the popes present
in each name line and then add the count. That's
the way the Babylonians did it to calculate 666. Don't use

merely count them.

In
spite of the fact that the count total now
stands at 680, the final total when Jesus comes
will be 666. How is that possible? Well, Benedict
XVI is one of the seven names of the popes
that have occurred since 1798, and after a
few years of reign, he will change his name
to a new Papal name, which has a count of 1,
which will bring the count total to 666. Here
is how we know this. In Revelation 17:11, it
says that the 8th (king) is out of the 7 (kings).
This means that following the one after the "one
is" (the John Paul name line), there is
a return to one of the 7 names of popes used
after 1798 and that particular person will
later change names to become the 8th king.
The name he dies with is the one which ultimately
counts towards the total, so since he will
die with a name that has a count total of 1,
he will be the man who is the receiver of the
number 666.
It
works like this:
John
Paul II adds 2 to the count total (previously at
663) which then stands at 665.
Benedict XVI add 15 to the count total which then
stands at 680.
Benedict XVI changes names, so subtract 15 from the
count total. The count total then stands at 665.
Benedict XVI's new name will be a new Papal name
not used before in Papal history, so will add a count
of 1 to the count total. Then 665 + 1 = 666.

A name change has never happened in Papal history.
The author has been told that there have been several
instances in which popes tried to change their names
but it was not permitted. Therefore, because the
Bible predicts that the eighth king of Revelation
17 will start with a name from among the seven used
after 1798, to then change to a new unique name in
Papal history will break the rules and will be totally
unprecedented in Papal history. It will be a terrible
shock to everyone when they realize what this means
- the 8th king is here! The end is coming!
*** Notice
that for the Years Reigned column, those in office
less than 1 year are rounded up to 1 year (except
for Benedict XVI). The
Years Reigned numbers are simply based on the absolute
years shown. Months in office over or less
than any given year are not accounted for. Thus,
a Calendar Years in Office listing of say 1559-1565
would produce a difference of 6 years. This
is not entirely accurate because this person might have
been in office at the end of 1559 and ended at the
beginning of 1565 so would have been in office a
little over 5 years, but we cannot know this from
the information given, 1559-1565. So, the totals
are not entirely accurate, but do give a reasonably
good idea of the total numbers of years any given
papal name held office over the centuries.
This
helps in relation to Revelation 17:10 which says "And
there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is,
and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh,
he must continue a short space." The phrase "must
continue a short space" is where this is helpful
for one can put the reign times in perspective for
the 7 papal names and see that the 7th name, John
Paul, indeed did remain only a short space (of time)
relative to the other 6 names.
Here

of office held by each of the 7 papal names
over the centuries (table as of late
April of 2005):

You
can see that the Pope John Pauls have been in office
by far the least amount of time of all the 7 papal
names by either measure! This fulfills the condition given
in Revelation 17:10 which says that the one who occurs
after the "one is" remains only
a short while (remember that the "one is" is
the Pope Paul line and the one after that is
the Pope John Paul line).
The short time of the John Paul line by either measure
clearly is in contrast with the times of the other
names.
