Isa 1:13-14 "bringing offerings is futile; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and sabbath and calling of convocation -- I cannot endure solemn assemblies with iniquity. Your new moons and your appointed festivals my soul hates; they have become a burden to me, I am weary of bearing them;"

1 Macc 10:34 "All the festivals and sabbaths and new moons and appointed days, and the three days before a festival and the three after a festival -- let them all be days of immunity and release for all the Jews who are in my kingdom;"

Judith 8:6 "She fasted all the days of her widowhood, except the day before the sabbath and the sabbath itself, the day before the new moon and the day of the new moon, and the festivals and days of rejoicing of the house of Israel."

     Again, note that in the last reference the sequence is the reverse of Col. 2:16. Note also the unique sequence in 1 Macc. 10:34.
